The Forgey family has produced performing arts “by and for the community” for the past
25 years in Georgia, California, and now returning to the Northwest.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Limuel Forgey is a pre-doctoral instructor and Doctor of Vocal Music candidate at

the University of Washington. He is an internationally acclaimed performer himself, and has directed, produced or managed over a hundred performances including musicals, opera, ballet, concerts, oratorio, and youth theater. He is dedicated to enriching communities and individuals through active participation in the arts and committed to a positive and affirming environment for artists of all ages. He was the founding director of the North Georgia Community Players and TAA in Visalia, California. He holds a Bachelor of Music from Washington State University and a Master of Arts in Music from California State University Fresno.

Chavaleh has been a vocal, acting, and public speaking coach since 1993 and her artists range from beginners to working professionals. She is always committed to helping performing artists reach their own “next level” and enjoy the process. She has conducted numerous children and youth choirs and has been the children’s chorus director for California Opera and Fresno Grand Opera, where she was also the adult Chormaster. She has been the music director for numerous theater productions, and particularly loves those that involve large youth casts such as Matilda, Annie, and Sound of Music. She was the founding director of TAA Junior Company in Visalia,
California. Chavaleh holds a BA in Music from Washington State University and a
Master’s from Luther Seminary.

Faith was the managing director of CLIPArts, a performing arts program for at-risk kids
in Visalia, California, from 2017 to 2020, having worked as a teacher there since 2014.
Faith has directed several youth musicals and has also worked as an assistant director
and music director. A sought-after singer, Faith has performed in musical theater,
opera, and concert singing, and has also had solo performances in Germany. Faith is
currently completing a Bachelor’s degree in Art at the University of Washington.

Erin, the youngest member of the Forgey family, has studied dance from a young age
and has performed several leading roles for various companies, including Cosette in
Les Miserables with Fresno Grand Opera, and the Sugarplum Fairy in the Nutcracker
Ballet. She was a teacher at Dance Arts in Visalia, California, and has choreographed
several musicals. She is known for her patient and encouraging work with young
dancers.
